Update November 2021, truck is SOLD!
2020 Ram 3500 Hemi 4wd Crew Cab Lonestar edition
11,000 total miles. 6000 miles since build. Majority of miles are all highway back and forth from Arizona to California.
Truck has been offroad 3 times, with a grand total of 20 miles in the dirt.
This truck was built with the premise of being able to go offroad with Raptors and similarly built prerunner style trucks. While also being able to tow a toy hauler or a flatbed with another prerunner. I had my share of broken toys while out in the desert, so I figured I would use the Ram as the back up toy. If the prerunner breaks, jump in the Ram and take it anywhere.
As the specs and details outline above, the truck is fully outfitted for anything offroad. We typically like to build our trucks with all the equipment needed to go on an EXO run. Proper front off road race lights, rear facing reverse and dust lights that are incorporated in to the 3rd brake light, and a race radio for communication, with its antenna also mounted on the 3rd brake light. The radio is mounted cleverly inside the dash pocket storage, so it is completely out of sight for every day driving. The Switch Pros SP 9100 runs all the auxiliary lighting and the panel was mounted stealth and flush on the dash.
The suspension is Carli’s top of the line kit with 3.0 King shocks that were custom tuned by Carli. To be clear, I actually took the truck to Carli and had them revalve and tune the shocks specifically for my set up, i.e. Hemi/3500/spare tire cage. This truck handles amazing both on and off road! Plus the dominator has the the heavy duty weld on shock mounts, and we added all the options, rear leafs, fabricated radius arms, etc. Its beefy.
There’s plenty of storage under and behind the seats for all of your recovery gear.
The interior is still like brand new. No food allowed in my vehicles.
There is not a single ding, dent or scratch on the truck!
I still have the window sticker that shows all of the factory options.

Why did I build a gas instead of a diesel? I’ve owned and built many diesel trucks. Plus I’ve had a ton of customers and friends with them. In my experience, diesels end up costing much more money in the end. Between turbos, egr’s, injectors, head gaskets, etc . They spend quite a bit of time in the shop and they are costly repairs. Plus I’ve proven with math, the extra money you spend on a diesel truck, does NOT compensate for the fuel saved over the lifetime that you will own the truck. Prove me wrong. Most importantly, is the offroad performance of a gas engine compared to a diesel, which really boils down to throttle response. Turbo lag and duning don’t mix well. By the time the power kicks in its too late to overcome the next obstacle. Not to mention, the Hemi comes with a 8 speed transmission with shift on the fly which is also great for offroad. So, if you want to hurt some Raptor owners feelings and still have a tow monster… This is it.
BTW, 3500’s have an offroad performance advantage over 2500’s because of the leaf springs vs coil springs. This really only applies to these Rams.
*Truck is being professionally detailed this week. Located in Carlsbad. Possible delivery available to Phoenix AZ.
